Knox Hills to Hold Spring Fling for Residents

It’s finally time to say farewell to the cold winter days. To welcome the warmer weather ahead, Knox Hills is holding its annual Spring Fling for Residents beginning at 5 p.m. March 26 at Brooks Field.

March is National Reading Month and to help celebrate, Knox Hills will give away FREE "Magic School Bus" books to the first 100 children in attendance at the Barr Library's "Reading is Magic" show.

Knox Hills had more than 1,000 entries turned in for its February Resident giveaway event. This is the largest participation for a drawing Knox Hills has seen since beginning operations.

Demolition Makes Way For New Neighborhood

December was a busy month for Knox Hills personnel as they completed the daunting task of vacating 258 outdated homes located in the Van Voorhis community to make way for 176 new homes.

Knos Hills is gearing up for a Waiting Spouses Initiative. To gather input, Knox Hills hosted numerous "Soldier Support" events for Residents with deployed spouses. At this session concerns were addressed and families created crafts for deployed soldiers.
