Actus Lend Lease Makes Leadership Donation to UWCK

Knox Hills Project Director Matt Wilbourn (left in photo) recently presented a $2,500 Leadership Donor check to United Way of Central Kentucky Executive Director Christopher Wilborn (right in photo) . The money was donated through the Actus Community Fund from Actus Lend Lease, the private partner of the U.S. Army under the Military Privatized Housing Initiative (MPHI).

“The Actus Community Fund chose to give this donation to the United Way of Central Kentucky because of the many local organizations and people who are helped through direct donation from United Way,” Matt said. “Actus is dedicated to being a good neighbor in the communities of which they are a part of, and seeks out ways to help local organizations who help our Soldiers and their Families.”

The Actus Community Fund was created as a way to strengthen and support the diverse communities in which Actus employees live and work. The fund focuses its efforts on supporting sustainable initiatives through projects and programs that benefit U.S. Military communities and service members and their families who live in them, as well as the civilian communities that are in close proximity to military communities that Actus is a part of and which provide the majority of support to Military Members and their families.
