Knox Hills Named Actus IIF Americas Recipient
Asset Manager, Whitney Trusty, agreed, stating, “Safety initiatives and goals are set, and training is enforced at all projects. But it’s the special group of caring people we have here that make these efforts successful. They truly watch out for each other, making sure safety is a top priority. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. We all strive to go above and beyond when it comes to safety, because simply put, we all want to see everyone go home to their families each night and show up for work safe the next day.” Safety and Loss Control Specialist Dan Meredith said he notices many safety-conscience workers on his daily routine visits to site areas, including change of maintenance teams, cleaners, painters, individual community centers and service techs working in the field. He said he is constantly reminded by these individuals that the Knox Hills group cares about safety because they feel cared about by management. “I think the leadership of this organization tries to show people who work here every day that they truly care about them and that they are not just a number or a statistic; they are a member of a family.
